PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

O most holy Heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore You, I love
You and with a lively sorrow for my sins, I offer You this poor heart of mine.
 Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to Your will.  Grant,
good Jesus, that I may live in You and for You.  Protect me in the midst of
danger; comfort me in my afflictions; give me health of body, assistance in
my temporal needs, Your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy
death.  Within Your Heart I place my every care.  In every need let me
come to You with humble trust saying, Heart of Jesus, help me.


Prayer of Abandonment        

Father, I abandon myself into Your hands; do with me what you will.  Whatever
You may do, I thank you; I am ready for all, I accept all.  Let only Your will be
done in me, and in all Your creatures--I wish no more than this, O Lord.  Into
your hands I commend my soul; I offer it to You with all the love of my heart, for
I love You, Lord, and so need to give myself, to surrender myself into Your
hands, without reserve, and with boundless confidence, for You are my Father.

Anima Christi        

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.

Body of Christ, save me.

Blood of Christ, inebriate me.

Water from the side of Christ, wash me.

Passion of Christ, strengthen me.

O good Jesus, hear me.

Within Thy wounds hide me.

Suffer me not to be separated from Thee.

From the malignant enemy, defend me.

In the hour of my death, call me.

And bid me come to Thee.

That with Thy saints I may praise Thee.

Forever and every.  Amen.



Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel        

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.  Be our defense against the
wickedness and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do
thou O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all
the other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.  Amen.  



Prayer to the Blessed Trinity        


The Father is my hope.  The Son is my refuge.  The Holy Spirit is my protector.  Glory
to the holy and undivided Trinity, now and forever.

Let us praise the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; let us bless and exalt God above
all forever!

Almighty and everlasting God, to whom we owe the grace of professing the true faith,
grant that while acknowledging the glory of the eternal Trinity and adoring its unity,
we may through Your majestic power be confirmed in this faith and defended against
all adversities; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.  Amen.



Prayer to the Holy Spirit        


Come, Holy Spirit, fill my heart with Your holy gifts.

Let my weakness be penetrated with Your strength this very day that I may
fulfill all the duties of my state conscientiously, that I  may do what is right and
just.

Let my charity be such as to offend no one, and hurt no one's feelings; so
generous as to pardon sincerely any wrong done to me.

Assist me, O Holy Spirit, in all my trials of life, enlighten me in my ignorance,
advise me in my doubts, strengthen me in my weakness, help me in all my
needs, protect me in temptations and console me in afflictions.

Graciously hear me, O Holy Spirit, and pour Your light into my heart, my soul,
and my mind.





Morning Offering        

O my Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer Thee all my
prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for Thy greater honor and glory,
the salvation of my soul, for the intentions of our Holy Father, and for the poor
souls in Purgatory.



Prayer for healing
O God, who art the only source of health and healing, the spirit of calm and the
central peace of this universe, grant unto me such a consciousness of Your
indwelling and surrounding presence, that I may permit You to give me health
and strength and peace, through Jesus Christ Our Lord.  Amen.  



Prayer for Priests        



O Jesus, I pray for your faithful and fervent priests; for Your unfaithful and tepid
priests; for Your priests laboring at home or abroad in distant mission fields; for
Your tempted priests; for Your lonely and desolate priests; for Your young priests;
for Your dying priests; for the souls of Your priests in purgatory.

But above all I recommend to You the priests dearest to me; the priest who baptized
me; the priests who absolved me from my sins; the priests at whose Masses I
assisted
and who gave me Your Body and Blood in Holy Communion; the priests who taught
and instructed me; all the priests to whom I am indebted in any other way.  O Jesus,
keep them close to Your heart, and bless them abundantly in time and in eternity.  
Amen.




The Serenity Prayer

 God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
As it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
If I surrender to His Will;
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life
And supremely happy with Him
Forever and ever in the next.
